Stella Capital exits portfolio company Rentals United

Stella Capital is pleased to announce the exit of its minority stake in portfolio company Rentals United, following its acquisition by Guesty.

Rentals United, a leading channel management SaaS platform for vacation rentals, provides its customers with distribution into online travel agencies/booking portals, such as Airbnb and Booking.com, and high-quality data-led insights to drive increased revenue.

Since Stella’s investment in 2019, Rentals United has seen its revenues increase by 70% and has improved its market position. The company has successfully become a global player within its industry.

“Our acquisition by Guesty, the clear software leader in the STR property management sector, is a testament to our own technical prowess, and we believe it will fortify our business and our offering in the long term, for our customers, partners and employees,” said James Burrows, CEO of Rentals United.

“We see this as a natural fit for two industry-leading players that harnesses great synergy for short-term rental and vacation rental property managers,” said Amiad Soto, CEO and co-founder of Guesty, which operates in more than 80 countries.

Stella Capital is delighted with the journey and the progress that Rentals United has made. We wish the new owners, Guesty, the very best of luck in their future endeavors.
